By making our residence
and workplace energy-efficient, we use fewer resources to operate our living
spaces. Using less electricity, less fuel, and less water means lower utility
bills. Also, once we have made our living spaces extremely energy-efficient
(electrically), it becomes much more feasible for us to invest in renewable
technologies, such as solar generated electricity. Homes that utilize solar
electricity use only 10-15% of the power consumed by typical utility-fed
home!
