DeSulfator by Innovative
Energy Systems
As a natural part of a battery’s
discharge cycle, lead sulfate slowly builds up on the lead plates. If the
battery is chronically undercharged, these deposits crystallize, or harden,
reducing the lead plate surface-area and thus battery storage capacity.
Chronically sulfated batteries result in poor performance and reduced cycle
life. Although equalization charges (i.e. a controlled battery overcharge)
eliminate lead sulfate hardening, a much more gentle and efficient way
to accomplish this is to use the DeSulfator module. more
