| The DeSulfator creates a
low power, high frequency pulse of energy that is tuned to the resonant
frequency of the lead sulfate crystals, resulting in an excitation that
frees the sulfate. The lead plate is re-exposed as sulfate ions return
to the electrolyte. Thus lead surface area, and therefore battery capacity
is restored. Oftentimes even old and abused batteries ‘perk up’ after a
DeSulfator is installed.
The DeSulfator provides a
slow, deliberate equalization charge to your battery bank, restoring and
maintaining full capacity while eliminating the need for manual equalization
charges. We now specify these units on all our new system installations.
The DeSulfator can revive old batteries and extend the useful life of a
newly installed set.
 Use
of the DeSulfator will condition battery without the damaging effects of
equalization, increase battery life and performance, increase reliability
of equipment, and decrease battery replacement costs.
