Don’t let the potential
of your regularly used lead-acid batteries go to waste. PowerPulse knocks
loose bonds adhering stubborn, unshakable lead sulfate particles to battery
plates. The natural process in which sulfates collect on the negative and
positive plates of your battery when it is discharged is theoretically
reversible during re-charging. However, without the PowerPulse system,
not all of the sulfate deposits can be effectively dislodged and reabsorbed
into the electrolyte solution of your battery. These sulfate deposits have
insulating, not conductive properties and will raise the internal resistance
of your battery, making charging less efficient and reducing battery capacity.
Suitable as a gentler alternative
the high-energy “equalization charge”, PowerPulse’s technology targets
unwanted sulfur emitting a carefully designed low-energy pulse safely breaking
up problem areas on plates, thus returning your battery to normal condition.
The PowerPulse performs best on small (i.e. 1-2) battery packs. For
larger battery bank capacities, the DeSulfator DS-500
or DS-1000
