A smaller version of the
Solar
Boost 50, The Solar Boost 2000 is a highly advanced charge controller
that utilizes series pass PWM (pulse width modulation) voltage control
using efficient and dependable MOSFET transistors. PWM delivers control
that leads to a more fully charged battery, longer battery life, and less
maintenance. To increase charge current up to 30%, Solar Boost 2000
calculates the panel’s peak power voltage, then it operates the panel at
this voltage to extract maximum power. An on board digital display
monitor's battery voltage and input & output currents. The optional
battery temperature sensor is an optional solution for automatic temperature
compensation of charge voltage. 25-amp maximum output (temp. sensor
includes 20 feet of cable). more
