The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is now providing incentives of $4.00 to $5.00 per watt for the installation of approved, grid-connected, PV systems up to 15kW! Under the NYSERDA program, incentives are available to eligible installers; Vermont Solar Engineering is an eligible installer.  The total incentive must be passed along to customers participating in the program. Eligible customers are those who pay into the New York State System Benefits Charge. Incentives provided to customers under this program may not be combined with any other incentive programs offered by NYSERDA, such as a $/watt incentive, designed to directly offset the cost of a PV installation. All systems, system components, and installations must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, codes, licensing and permit requirements, including but not limited to, the New York State Building Code, the National Electric Code, New York State’s Standard Interconnection Requirements and all applicable local ordinances. Additional requirements apply, including a 5-year PV system warranty to the purchaser. All systems must meet the requirements of NYSERDA's PON 716 and are subject to review and approval by NYSERDA.
