Types of Systems: Direct Power Systems
Direct power systems consist merely of a PV array and the load being powered. Since there is no battery storage, the load will operate during daylight hours, and is thus impractical for a remote home or cabin. Common direct power applications include water pumping for livestock, green-house ventilation, and circulator pumps for solar water heating systems.
